Goodbye Charlie.
There will be no chance of Charlie Sheen ever returning to “Two and a Half Men” if the show’s producers have their way, according to a report on the entertainment website TMZ.
Although the first episode of the upcoming season won’t be filmed until Aug. 5, producers are looking to kill off Sheen’s playboy character, Charlie Harper, by having him drive a car off a cliff. It would be a grisly case of art imitating life because two of Sheen’s cars went down a cliff off Mulholland Drive, TMZ reported.
Earlier this year, “Men” creator Chuck Lorre and the shows producers fired Sheen from “Two and a Half Men” after eight seasons because of his erratic behavior. Since then, Lorre has been a frequent target of Sheen’s barbs.
“Punk’d” star Ashton Kutcher has been hired to fill the void caused by Sheen’s departure from the highly successful CBS sitcom.
