Results from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’
TV Show Chanel June 24th. 2011, 4:45amThe evening opens up with a group dance choreographed by Dave Scott to “Sinnerman” by Nina Simone. It’s bittersweet because we know it will be the last group dance for two couples, who are going home.
I won’t waste any time with the results. Read this for a more detailed rant and recap. After the following solos: Wadi dances to “Pon de Floor” by Major Lazer feat. Vybz Kartel; Missy dances to “Move” (Metronomy Remix) by CSS; Nick dances to “Follow Me Down” by 3OH!3 feat. Neon Hitch; Iveta dances to “Samba Rock” by Gennaro; Ricky dances to “Riot Rhythm” by Sleigh Bells; and Ryan, who is an absolute dead ringer for Cat Deeley, dances to “Moving Mountains” by Usher, a performance by Rage Crew, and a live musical performance of “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, we learn that Ryan and Ricky are safe. (I guess America voted to preserve the pair.)
I can’t say that I’m all that surprised by the results. The show’s producers have been spotlighting Ryan for the past couple years. America knows her. She has name recognition. Ricky is lucky enough to be guilty be association. (Plus he had a fantastic solo.) I think the judges are keeping Ryan around for as long as possible.
What do you think about the eliminations? Who are you sad to see go?
