Harry Potter mania continues, and Lifetime has figured out a way to bring the phenomenon to its viewers just as the film series wraps up. The end result is the made-for-TV movie “Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story,” which airs at 8 tonight. The small-screen flick dramatizes the British author’s (played by Poppy Montgomery, “Without a Trace”) struggle to bring the beloved wizard fantasy to life. Viewers will see Rowling first as a single mother on welfare and then as one of the world’s wealthiest women, with more than 400 million copies of her books sold across the globe.
