HE came back on to save his reputation, and his career but copycat comedian Jordan Paris has again been accused of serving up reheated jokes.

Paris, 22, appeared on the talent show last month doing a routine about singer Robbie Williams.

His performance was praised at the time by judges Dannii Minogue, Kyle Sandilands and Brian McFadden.

They weren’t so enthusiastic when it emerged Paris had lifted the routine almost word for word from English comedian Lee Mack’s 2007 performance on the British stand-up comedy show Live at the Apollo.

Paris appeared on the show again yesterday in a bid to redeem himself but received scathing criticism from the judges with Kyle Sandilands suggesting he should stick to “ripping off other people’s stuff because your stuff sucks a—”.

And it turns out he may have done just that.

The only joke to solicit a chuckle came during the opening of the set when Paris told the audience “I just sacked my two writers; cut and paste”.

But the joke has also been used before.

Jeffrey Ross claimed in his sledging of fellow comedian Brad Garrett that: “This guy has two writers, their names are cut and paste.”

Twitter users quickly jumped to mock Paris with Genevieve Fricker reflecting “Jordan Paris steals joke about stealing jokes … The irony gives me a nosebleed.”

The routine was based around the controversy that followed his first, embarrassing appearance on the show.

“I think we’re the smartest country in the world … it took took the United States 10 years to find bin Laden, but it only took Australia 10 minutes to find out I’m not Lee Mack.”

He explained: “I was really coming back to have fun, take the mickey out of myself.”

The judges were not kind this time around with McFadden saying he thought Paris was a “top bloke” but had “collapsed” and Dannii Minogue telling him it was “uncomfortable for everyone.”

What did you think?
